Westar Energy Deploying MCG’s Complete SPP Market Solution

Minneapolis, February 16, 2012: Westar Energy is adding the Integrated Asset Manager software offered by MCG Energy Solutions, LLC (“MCG”), rounding out deployment of MCG’s complete Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Integrated Market Solution. MCG’s SPP Integrated Market Solution provides comprehensive market and operations functionality including Asset and Transaction Management, Integrated E-Tagging, ISO Communications, Shadow Settlements, Transmission Billing, Energy Accounting, and Control Area Scheduling.
