Application Hosting

If you don’t have the capability to host your new software system, MCG will do it for you. MCG has developed an extensive infrastructure to provide our clients with full-system lifecycle management services to support our energy products and custom-designed applications. Our fully redundant data centers provide our customers with peace of mind.

The primary data center is located in a former bank vault in Minneapolis, which provides maximum physical security. In the case of a catastrophic event in our primary data center, our secondary data center, which synchronously mirrors all data from our primary site, would assume full operation. Both hosting environments include:

• Redundant power through the use of an automatic (electronic) generator failover with a 24 X 7 fueling contract.
• Five independent fibre (bandwidth) providers using BGP4 network resource optimization.
• Redundant (clustered) hardware firewalls.
• Redundant (teamed) Ethernet switching.
• Redundant (teamed) core routers.
• Redundant (clustered) database, email, and web servers.
• Highly scalable SAN storage. MCG uses EMC SAN storage, which is monitored 24 hours a day by EMC for immediate detection of storage system issues.
